There is a great personal satisfaction to be had in learning how to draw. Working from observation, we will use strategies to accurately get what we see on to paper. Measurement, negative and positive space, perspective, value and visual relationships are some of the points which will be addressed. For the more advanced student, we will discuss issues relating to composition and abstraction.
Please bring a sketch pad (11” x 14” or larger), HB – 4B pencils or vine charcoal and kneaded eraser to class. Drawing will be from still life setups. A materials list will be supplied after registration. No class on 2/18 and 4/14.
