Always wished you could understand Shakespeare or act in one of his masterpieces? Shakespeare’s words don’t have to seem like a foreign language. This class will explore his works as they were meant to be explored; through performing them. Through the text, learning how to understand it, and translating it to the stage, adults of all ages will learn just how universal and timeless the themes of his plays really are. The Bard was gritty, clever, hilarious, thought provoking, and even promiscuous. Through his scenes and soliloquies we’ll entertain all that he had to offer and learn, as beginner and experienced actors, how to tackle the heightened language of his brilliant works.
